SV	Diezelve plaats noemde men het dal Eskol, ter oorzake van den tros, dien de kinderen Israels van daar afgesneden hadden.
WLC	לַמָּקֹ֣ום הַה֔וּא קָרָ֖א נַ֣חַל אֶשְׁכֹּ֑ול עַ֚ל אֹדֹ֣ות הָֽאֶשְׁכֹּ֔ול אֲשֶׁר־כָּרְת֥וּ מִשָּׁ֖ם בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Trans.	lammāqwōm hahû’ qārā’ n^aḥal ’ešəkwōl ‘al ’ōḏwōṯ hā’ešəkwōl ’ăšer-kārəṯû miššām bənê yiśərā’ēl:

AC	כד למקום ההוא קרא נחל אשכול על אדות האשכול אשר כרתו משם בני ישראל
ASV	That place was called the valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
BE	That place was named the valley of Eshcol because of the grapes which the children of Israel took from there.
